irst shown as a concept at the 2001 Tokyo show, the GTR's long gestation may see it overshadowed by higher-powered rivals before it's even launched. Nissan is relying on the car's high-tech intelligent all-wheel-drive system to give it a handling edge, however. Big question is: Can U.S. Nissan dealers really sell a $55,000-plus car?
I only hope that the 450hp rating is under rated as it was when the older GT-Rs were released.
Don't forget, part of car company's market strategy is to be able to show hp improvements.
Heck look at the G, it started at 280 and looks like its going up to 115+ over 4 years. Thats a 35hp increase not factoring in the change in rating standards.
Even if it starts at 450, it'll probably rise up to 500 over a few years.
And the more I think about it, the GTR needs to stay in the Vette range to keep sales up. They need to have something in the high-$40k-50k, then have a higher end that can go up to high-$60k-70k.
cool, so by the time it comes out, you'll have just enough to afford the minimum down payment
yeah as if you can afford to make a down payment when Rhea got the dough on lockdown and your next car is going to be a honda odyssee with 5 star safety rating.

LOL, atleast I can afford the minimum down payment for the GT-R. What are you going to do with your face?, you cant afford to go on with your life looking like that.

This is true, but at least this face can see over the dashboard without telephone books

This from a man who didnt celebrate MLK's "I have a dream speech", this past Monday, but instead wrote his own similiar speech:
"And if I am to be a real man someday, I must get my ***** back. This must become true and if this ever happens, I will join my hands around my ***** and look at them and sing in the words of the old spiritual..."I got my ***** back!...I got my ***** back!...Yes, I am a man again, cuz I got my ***** back!!!"
