My car is still in the shop and looks like its gonna be there for a little while. But while i went to go visit the car and read it a bed time story I noticed that 2 of my wheels were damaged (although 1 of them might have been prior to the accident). And they were about to set in an order to replace the 2 wheels at $800 a peice. I was wondering if there are any rims I can get for around $1600. Im honestly not looking for Volks or something expensive because I'm giving the car back at the end of the summer. But I figure if I can get something with tires for about $1600 or $1800 I'd take it. I know I could use the search function and I did but theres over a million rims out there. Just figured you guys have good taste and wanted your opinions. I am partial to Gold rims but I know a quality gold like the ones on the Volks will run me back a pretty penny so I dont mind traditional silver. Only request is that I'm not a big fan of chrome. 18-19inch would do. preferably 19. thanks for the input you guys

Let's assume you currently have the factory 18s on your G. If your giving
up your G why not visit the local Nissan/Infiniti wrecking yard and get two
factory rims.......save your $ for the next ride!!

Are you returning it as a lease or giving it back to your folks or who are you giving it back to? If lease, i wouldn't waste my time buying rims. I don't know what the leasing contracts state regarding returning the car with different rims. Getting rims for the winter snow season is probably not the best time or idea either, this is the time people put their stock back on for the snow/salt. You should just buy Angie's 18's for cheap, if they're still available, and pocket the extra grand. Not worth investing money and time if you're giving up the car at the end of summer.
