Po-Po Getting smart
Po-Po Getting smart
Ive been noticing a trend the past few months and have wanted to post but kept forgetting.
How many of you are out driving and see an angled police car with lights flashing on the shoulder and think 'Well he's got somebody, let me just fly past since he wont leave to come for me.'
Bad news, this is a new technique fairfax county's finest have been working on. They know that when they already pulled somebody over, that most others fly by thinking hes busy with one offender. Unfortunately I have seen 10 cases of officers inside the cruisers on the shoulder of the road. They are angled and prevent you from getting a real view of any car in front of them (any offender). As you approach, you assume, lights flashing, stopped, on shoulder, he's pulled somebody over, lets just speed up...or perhaps even dont slow down.
But on rte 28 specifically from my daily trek to/from the gym, I see cruisers on the shoulder w/ lights flashing. At first I assumed they had pulled somebody over, but until Id get real close I couldnt see that there was no car pulled over. The external spot light was even pointing in the air in front, and as soon as a speeder flys by, the cruiser takes off in pursuit. It's a nice trick and it looks like the Po PO has caught onto this idea of 'Best time to speed is when the cops nearby and already has one perp.'
Just be careful out there...

. What did Lek say to her in the first place? I forget. on topic though, I have seen what you are talking about and wondered the same thing. I had no idea if they were doing paperwork or trying to set a trap. I slow down regardless because im skeptical anyways

well, dont mean to thread jack here, but here i noticed a cop on an overpass i drove on and then turned to get on the highway. didn't think anything of it until i drove a few miles down the road (opposite side the cop was standing) and about 9 cops with people pulled over. so this guy was standing on the overpass clocking people and would radio in the car description to the units further down the road. i also noticed on the first exit from the cop, was a nice pack of parked cops at the gas station of the corner of the exit ramp waiting to be dispatched. so even if you saw him clock you and tried the first exit, they were waiting for you at the bottom.
I'm sorry but you have to be a retard to continue speeding when you see cop with his lights on. Most people slow down and see what's going on because the world is full with curious people.
