Im sure its obvious to anyone who's been to these stores... atleast in our area that the workers have a certain "look." And "Kaine" was discussing this on his show on 99.5. He was stating that A&F only hire good looking people. Then a former store manager came on and said that when someone applies for a job if they have the model look then circle the A in A&F and if not circle the F. And at the end of the night they trash all the "F" applications. What is everyone's opinion of this?

 

that place is known to be racist. not only do they hire 'good looking' they hire only 'good looking' white ppl. lately though, ive been seeing a few 'white asians' in the mix. they are racist...look at their models, no chocolate faces, only vanilla faces!!

 

Don't you remember their whole shirt campaign mockin the asians on their shirts. Big protest on the store. I'd google it to find out. Its nothing new.

They hire Asians, blacks, and "non-attractive" people.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if that was true....the A & F in columbia mall is the same thing. Too many workers that looked like they are models.

 

I work there haha... Columbia mall..... been working there for 2 years now... used to work at AnF in Long Island. Id say... 3 out of ever 4 people hired are white w/ blond hair. I have no complaints

 

thats what i notice...all the time.

 

But can you really blame them? Almost 99% of their customers are people that look like who they hire. Not to say that I don't hate racisim...i really do. But I think it has more to do with relating to their client base than it does with racisim.

 

You don't really see Victorias Secret hiring fat people to model their stuff... they may not be racist but they are just as selective.. just in a different way

 

This is old .I used to buy from them .I heard this and looked at a few stores and saw this so i don't buy from them anymore.

i see alot of chubby to fat white chicks buying their clothes....

then you'll also see spanish...asians.... some black...not many...but some buying from there as well.
