$30,000 Civic?!? Mugen Sedan Si

http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/10/...edan-revealed/

I dont know if Im missing the important facts, but besides wheels, the only other major changes are suspension and exhaust. At least that's all that is stated in the descriptions I have read. How does suspension work and a diff exhaust raise a car's price up by over $10k?? I hope there is more to this.

Yeah... Thats sad in a way. These high profile names supposedly got here due to their performance enhancements. Thats almost like buying a turbonetics kit to add 10whp to the car. Its really sad...

Reminds me of a race that happened in 1971. We bet $20.00 on it (big money back then). Two VW's one box stock, no air, no options. The other had every option you could imagine. headers, carb. AC, surf rack, big wheels, deluxe interior. We beat the pants off this guy. He just couldn't believe that a stock motor could whip him. "But mine has headers!" He screamed. We just grinned. "Open the hood, I wanna see that motor, you're hiding something." We even offered the last check out sheet from the dealer with compression, timing, and advance figures on it. He pulled a knife out and threatened us again. He pulled our spark plug wires out from the distributor and drove off. We just laughed and fixed it, and drove off.

He has so much extra weight in that thing, we could run circles around him.

daaamn thats a story there. Thats crazy man heh. I could see that happening here if the buyers were uneducated. Some slightly modded civic beating the Mugen in a straight line. Guy gets mad and does loser flyby... the usual story.

Beat me again? You've never raced me to begin with. Dont have me starting another thread again calling you out since you're too scared to race me

If you beat me, you can have my PS3

Awsome if mugen decides to come back to the states again.. but horrible how they picked the worst car to mod.

If they would have decided to mod a Coupe they'd probably have more success in the US.
