Thats one game I will be getting on PS3 unless they surprise me with some sort of co op mode, but if its purely a 1 player game, its gonna look so damn sweet on the PS3!!... but damn you're right. that game looks like its gonna be HAWT!!

mostly movies, 1080p has 2x as many pixels vs 1080i, its extremely processor intensive, when you are rendering in 1080p, you can render much less polygons on screen. its not worth it usually for developers to push 1080p while making a huge sacrifice to 3d rendering performance.

Looks like it is only the movies w/ be in 1080p and the games in 1080i
im pretty sure its capable of rendering games in 1080p, since its already capable of doing that already right now since they patched it last year.
as for as the new one goes, just being capable dosnt mean it should though since games will run much slower and thered be a lot less polygons on screen if it renders in 1080p. but developers defiently have the option to do that, I'd expect less graphically intensive games to be in 1080p, such as puzzle games, music games etc. I rather have a beautiful game rendered in 720p than a slower 1080p game with much less going on on-screen

I saw some of the screenshots of Heavenly Sword on Sony's site. I cant wait for this game to come out.
