Coming back from DC at 2am was a blast last night...no cops once you got out of Georgetown area.

495 was fuucking DEAD = New top speed in the G for me!

 

damn are you serious? I got pulled on 495 right after the georgia ave. exit around 2:30.. the cop was harrassing me and my friends for nearly an hour. He called a K-9 unit b/c he thought we were having "too much fun" in the car. When the K-9 did get there, he ordered us all out of the car, and sent the dog in?? were they allowed to send the dog into the car? We were in my friend's range rover and he was pissed as hell..
My friend was DD that night so all he drank was water all night, everyone else was trashed/buzzed, messed up how cops just harass the young.. we have no rights!

 

I thought you had to consent to the dog checking out the vehicle. I guess Im wrong.

 

Either consent or probable cause - the latter being pretty subjective, and the PO could maintain that "having too much fun in the car" constituted prob. cause

 

Thanks for clearing that up. Thats just the way of the law

oh well, inconvenience to maybe save some people in the longrun.

 

I drove to Baltimore, my brother drove back. Didn't see any cops on the way back at all. My brother has a breathalizer in his car. I blew a point a .07 and he blew a .04, both legally sober, although I felt a little drunker than that.

 

Damn yo...that sucks!! I was pretty sober...there was an Audi (S6 I think) headed my same direction. We were doing triple digits for a good 5 min. until I dipped out on VA toll rd.
