Talking Was in court for 6 hrs yesterday...

...about 4 & 1/2 hrs of that of it was waiting for my case to be heard. I saw 3 people get taken away to start their jail sentences, and they were the people you would least expect to be in jail. This one lady, she must've been like 45 yr old, got cuffed and taken away. I was like, holy ****...no way I'm goin home today...specially with what I'm facing.

You guys have no idea...I really gave up hope...I mean I was half way bent over w/o lube while holding my breath and ready for the punishment.

But long story short, all was...

..... MUTHAFACKIN DISMISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!1

my lawyer the prosecutor

and he officer douchebag

all on a technicality

I'm driving like a grandma from now on!!!!!!!

Good luck B! But I think you're already in better shape b/c you're not in FFX County

Man, they were talking about 6 mo license suspension and some insane amount of jail time...I mean just redicolous for a traffic citation...I bet you its b/c (even tho I was 100% polite to the officer) I did kind of make a honest remark to the officer (at the time of the citation) which he probably took as "talking back w/ attitude" type thing...and I think that's why the prosecutor wouldn't settle, and thus forcing us to go to trial.

that and i have -13 driving record. lol

Seriously, when they were yapping about all that sh|t, I was lost deep in my own head, thinking of what the consequences would be if convicted. I mean, you just can't think straight when they have 30 days in jail hanging over your head. But I think it was something either about setting up and testing the radars or something about pacing. Not sure...honestly!

Mostly I was worried about the 6mo license suspention...b/c I knew damn well I couldn't stay off the roads for that long! lol

I had serve jury duty last month and luckily I got dismissed. The way it works is that they have like 200 jurors in a meeting hall. Then through out the day they call up groups of 40 to a courtroom. Of those 40, 12 are called to be seated in the jury box and the lawyers do their thing and they pick, if less than 8 remain, one from the left over 40 is called up to be interviewed.

Just to my luck, I was called to be part of the first 40. While waiting to get into the courtroom, I got called in and was seated juror #4. It started looking bad for. But I decided to play dee dee dee and just lost all attention to everything they said. The DA gets up and says I like to dismiss juror #4. Big thumps up to her. I still ended up wasting 6 hours there.
