Of course i'm putting on my 18's for the winter. I doubt all-season or winter tires are any better. If anything, I would just get myself into trouble being overconfident that i'm riding on "winter" tires. Plus other than the 5 day it's going to snow this winter, I don't want to be riding on winter tires the rest of winter.

HAHAHA dude....u need winter tires if you're planning to drive in any snow. Thats why they are categorized as "WINTER" and "SUMMER".

I guess I forgot to mention that I don't plan on driving the G in any sort of snow. That's probably not recomended regardless of what tires you have on.

What about "SPRING" when there's rain on the ground and "FALL" when there's leaves on the ground? any recomendations? haha, just playing.

we're just talking about snow kid lol

even in the fall when i had the PS1 the grip wasn't that great. The grip is best when its hot out. The PS1 is also very bad in the rain. I've done many 180s going around a corner too fast on the PS1.

the toyos that I have on right now are okay in the rain...not as scary as the pilots...but def. not as stickey as the pilots were when it was dry and warm out.

winter tires or not the G is simply not a car for the snow. being that it only snows 5 days out of the year here, i think pilots are good enough for the kind of snow we get. unless of course you have a money tree in your back yard and just like to spend extra $$ on snow tires. lek we had this discussion last year and you jew-d out!!
