Smile Gas Prices!!!

Has anyone noticed how the gas prices are dropping tremendously over the past few weeks. Whats going on? Is Bush's approval rating finally getting to him or is he lowering the gas prices to draw our attention from something else?

Either way, I just filled up by my house and gas was $2.51/gallon for 87 octane and it was $2.71 for 93, but if you go to shell on Wednesdays, they knock 6 cents off of the 93 octane price, so I paid only $2.65/gallon which was only 4 cents higher than 89 octane. Wow and it only took me $39.67 to fill up.

Now, if I just wait a little bit longer. Gas will eventually be back to 99 cents for regular and $1.19 for 93 octane.

*flashback*

Remember when you would go to the gas station w/ your mother and she would give you like $7 to $10 and that would fill up the car. If we could just get back or even a little bit closer to those times again.

The prices are lower due to the fact the hurricane predictions have not come true. There's a good article on CNN Money about it. As for the line in Gulf of Mexico... We won't be seeing the benefits of that for a couple years I believe.
