Which gas station do you use in this area?

I use Mobil/Exxon because I've heard its 93 octane gas is decent.
Shell is pretty good too.

I've heard not to use Wawa and Sunoco because I had a friend who worked at a Wawa station explain that they put water in their gas. Of course it's just speculation.

Sams club just opened a gas station near Potomac Mills mall which is .10 to .15 cheaper a gallon. I am curious to know if their gas is of good quality.
Then Cosco is going to open a gas nearby.

In the end result, gas comes from the same source but some gas companies blend in purities in their gas which our performance engines can benefit from.

Stick to shell or exxon, Shell has stuff in the gas that cleans your engine out or injectors if im not mistaken Exxon is good so far but i think burns faster from my experience. Shell has lasted the longest when i use. But between those two i would stick to Shell IMO.

I usually go to Gas King on Rockville Pike when I'm up that way, it's always the cheapest Premium gas in that area. Cash only. Dunno about the quality of the gas itself. *shrug*

In Falls Church, I go to the Mobil at Arlington Blvd and Graham Rd.

In Arlington, Lee Highway Exxon at Lee Hwy and N Barton St.

I use the cheapest!! ahaha.. regarding the shell using cleaners in their gas. There is an article in MoneyMagazine or something that i have at home, each issue, they do a "10 things ____ don't want you to know" they had one on gas station. One of the pointers was that, those sales pitch regarding having additional cleaning addictive is a scam!! This can litterally mean, an additional cup of cleaner per tank (truck tanker) of gasoline, so it has little effect. Also, the basic cleaner, are in all gasoline, as they are required by law. This is per the article so don't quote me on it. I still only Exxon and Shell cuz they are cheaper where I go.

FYI but when we were at IOC for that morning meeting I think it was someone from BG products (expert in the oil area) had metnioned that of all the gases, Shell V-Power held up the best through all the tests. Take it for what its worth but I remember him saying Shell. As for me though I usually go to Citgo by my house. 93 octane with the 10% Ethanol in it.

There are definitly scams out there. Of course you also see articles about mechanics who charge people for work they don't need, or for work that is never done. That doesn't mean that there arent some really good shops out there, it just means that you have to look out.
Don't go to ACME Petrol and Chicken House

This is true ,they all put something in the gas .How much we will never know.Did yo hear about the pipeline in Alaska, they didn't want to put the cleaner and rust inhibitor in the oil to save money now the piplines are very shakey.The\y wanted to shut them down. They have no problem charging top dollar though.
