Hid

can anyone tell me what the stock hid bulbs' voltage is? i'm trying to go to a step higher to get a more unique look without over powering the harness and frying it. something with more of a blueish tint to it. if anyone has done this, where did you get your bulbs from?

im runnin 4300k stock HIDs, i sold my 6000k Philips Ultinon's to arjunz...they go for $270 a pair not shipped. (I got mine from a group buy for $210 shipped). I sold mine (1 month old used bulbs) and installed them for junior for $150...i would get the 6000k philips bulbs. Jesus has some 8000k bulbs from xedtronic...they look nice but the higher the k rating the more dim the bulb, its a FACT so please no arguing this BS...

^lol ... yeah a lot of people argue that BS ... actually the STOCK HID is the clearest.... but 6000k isnt that bad ... but when its foggy ... or raining ... u can see decline in visibility from stock..

I got McColluch 6000K I got from ebay for like $110 or so shipped. I guess it's a tad less purple thant Phillips but at 1/2 the price, it's a no brainer for me.

I also have the Phillips 6000k they are great. I had 8000k's and they were too dim. The 6000's are about as bright as the stock bulbs with better color.
