Arrow test out these products

These are some cheap "HP boosters' and they wont live up to the claim, but should help, some one see if they do anything, or lets just speculate w.e, add any other products you would like to see results for that are like under $25

The first one has some merit. Turbulent flow will mix more with the fuel spray, BUT since its taking place at the inlet I'm not sure how much of that will actually make its way to the combustion chamber. Since you will have some inlet pressure loss I don't thin it would be worth it, at least not for our cars. Its possible that with a different tb config it might help.

For the second one the only way to get around changing the s/w in the ECU is to change something with the electronic h/w. Typically not a good idea. They're probably bypassing/shorting something to make the car think it needs to dump in more fuel. Which will give a little more power, but you will be running rich and get poor gas mileage. And out doubt that it would be anywhere near a 20whp gain, maybe 2-3. But to go from 21mpg to probably 17 or less, I don't think its worth it.

That Ebay "chip" is just a resistor that won't cost more than $1 at Radio Shack...
Almost like a non-mechanical o2 sim, it'll bypass the air sensor making your ecu read a certain temperature at all times (most likely around 68 degrees), basically making your car run richer while advancing your timing.

I'll let you guys figure out how good or bad that is...

Also - wouldn't it make more sense to make your car read a hotter temperature to run leaner?
Not sure about you guys, but I think I'd rather try to work with an APEXi SAFC...

Points taken, i wasnt going to put them in 07, im not really doing anything to my 07 becuase i dont have enough expirence, so i dont really know where to start or how not to mess up my car installing them and i dont want to pay 90$ hour to get parts installed, i dont really feel like learning cars on my brand new 07 and the beater isnt technically mine, my friend could, but he moved back to MI so im kinda screwed, the curse of noobs

always gotta start somewhere, and atleast you're not coming on here acting like you know everything when you dont. I know I sure as hell dont, but being around a bunch of car nuts has had its large advantages.

don't the popchargers and similar filters already create a "vortex" of sorts?

the second link is just bull caca
the first, forget it. You're better of replacing the accordian style/convoluted coupling between the intake box/mass air flow sensor and the tube with a piece of 3" diameter, 4.5" long silicon hose. Forget the vortex generating, tornado effect business. Eliminate the convoluted piece.
