If he was being sarcastic then he was hatin to some extent. I dont make a deal of it though. I play it smart and make them feel a bit stupid for asking a question like that. I mean, if someone asks you a question like that, if you reply asking them, "why would you think that" or some equivalent, then they are put on the spot.

Think about that next time and post a response. Id love to hear what people would have to say.

ok, well when you say he was hatin on the g owner, then OK, but he wasnt hatin on the car. I just found it weird that someone would ask a 30 year old if the g was his fathers car. Would your neighbor expect only 50-60 year olds driver these cars?

I wouldn't sweat it really! Important thing is you did it on your own and you enjoy the car. Don't worry about what others think.

Rule in life is there will always be haters trying to bring you down. Just ignore 'em and do your thing!!

Encounter...............?

I can see little if any hatred in what he said. Your
answer could have been "no it's my grandmothers."
Being a smartass that's my comeback! If anything
someone might ask me "is that your kids car?"

Dude, drop it. I said that people think I look young for my age. Apparently you are one of those people who "like to speak their mind". You like to argue, right? Well, I don't. You're making this a big deal.

Talking to you is like talking to a wall. Anyone else with similiar situations?

I just wanted to bring up the subject and interested in other stories. But I can understand if someone were to think I worry about what people think or say.

you're the hater for thinking he was hating on you!! there!! haha..j/k . When i opened, I was expecting somebody to say "my srt-4 is faster than your POS" or "why did you spend so much on a slow car?" kinda of hating. To suggest that you might be driving your dad's car, well..i don't blame him if you truely look that young. We have our fair share of spoiled kids on the forum that are 16-18 driving G's. And i'm sure in our area, we have a lot of rich parent buying their kids all sort of pimp car. So maybe he's jealous. I wouldn't think much of it, atleast he complimented on your car. At the end of the day, that's all that matter right? Don't mind all the comments, we all speak our mind and personally I thought the story didn't fit the title myself, but no biggie.

I don't mind the comments but when someone likes to argue then they like drama. I didn't ask about my encounter. *I asked about others situations.

I know we all like to speak our mind but sometimes a line crosses where someone likes to be a Drama Queen...sorry..Drama King in this case.

Once again, my intention was for other fellow members to bring up other similiar situations. Apparently someone likes to go off in a different tangent due to behavior attitudes.

I wouldn't think too much about it. That guy seems more annoying then anything. I'm 25 and I get neighbors that come around to compliment me on the car when I'm washing it, but they are really nice people too. Your neighbor just sounds like a douche.

Very nice buddy.

I've worked since I was 17 and attended college. I am not spoiled or do not appear to be spoiled.

Try and grow up.One word describes you...immature. Have a nice life.
