k, send me the resumes, my company is actually actively hiring right now. i am PMing the 2 of you my email address. And since we are a small company, i actually have a lot of say here already. The company is growing at an insane rate, 1 or 2 new clients each month and you learn a lot here and do everything. Please send your resumes to me asap before the positions get filled, they are already interviewing. Ill try to put in good words for you guys. and sorry, no manager or super visor position available, only technical positions.

Where is your company located?

I am a Network/Computer Field Engineer so I may qualify for the tech analyst position.
If you can provide any details about this position I'll appeciate it.

However, I live in Burke, VA so hopefully the position is not too far away from where I live.

The position = analyze tech support requests for the front end and backend. Front end you cant do too much trouble shooting other than send the support request to the developers. for the backend, you analyze the issues, some times its as easy as just update a table. Sometimes you have to write or edit stored procedures and user defined functions, write triggers. Also do updates for clients, write SQL scripts to create, alter tables according to specifications. DB platforms used by clients are SQL server 2000, SQL server 2005, and Borland Interbase.

Bethesda is kind of a far drive from Burke. Also, my knowledge is networking and seems that this is a database position. Hmm... I assume you have to have database and programming experience for this position, right?

Nice. You work at Northrop Grumman. I work for a small IT contractor at Dulles Airport. Unfortunately, I do not hold any security clearances yet. I need to get sponsored first and go through the motions. Then maybe I can work for Nothrop Grumman or another large IT company because I heard its difficult to obtain a position within your organization.

I dont think so. It is easier to get in from the inside though i.e. knowing someone. Resumes that get passed along here seem to get more attention then those from outside resources unless a department is in a hiring frenzy.
