Georgetown Waterfront

Hey all,
I know most of you in the club love to go out and most likely have a better knowledge of the hot spots downtown. My girlfriend's bday is coming up this weekend and she requested we go out to the waterfront in georgetown. We are unfamiliar with the area and wanted to get some advice and great places to eat and bars to visit. We plan on having dinner with our friends then walking along the waterfront in Georgetown afterwards to visit some bars/clubs. Any reccomendations? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

club H2O is on the waterfront, as far as bars, theres plenty of them on M street between where Georgetown starts ... i think its 26th and 34th street. And theres tons on wisconsin ave if you walk up the hill toward bethesda, since they dont charge cover you can hop around. Different spots are popping on different nights so just walk around. you can park by the waterfront, theres plenty of parking lots.

Why walk by the waterfront while you can be dining on it. Try the Odyssey cruise if it's a special occasion. It's by no means cheap but what's cheap around DC anyways. The port is a few blocks down from club H20.

Sequoias will be jam packed. I've gone there too many times to remember but its right there on the water to eat some food.

if you wanna impress w/ "in the know" g'town knowledge - swing by Cafe La Rouch for dessert - it's a block south of Paper Moon... they have great fruit tarts and patio seating on the side...

i would avoid sequioa like the plague if you plan on eating. they have the nastiest food, but the best view/scenery. overall drinks are good too...but be warned....do NOT eat the food!! there is a bomb a$$ pizza place next to the ice cream shop up the stairs by the fountains. There is also a nice mexican joint on the lower level by the fountains that i highly recommend.

I took my girl to this place on the waterfront and I think the name was Miller's Grill or something like that. The food was great. Kinda expensive, but not too bad.
