or just do what im doing... buy a hatch, put a Ls/Vtec with a turbo!! project is about 5k with hook ups, not including the car. All it needs is some pistons and rods and a real good tune and 10+ lbs and you will smoke almost anything..

keep considerate mods on your G and worry about night scene on the G..

Honestly, theres no replacement for displacement, if you are talking about a lot of money. once you get the internals changed to handle massive boost, the 3.5L VQ should be able to put out way more power than the 2.0L 4g63, of course you have to replace tranny, clutch and all kinds of other crap too.

In the end, spending that much money to mod a G is retarded. Id rather just get a Z06 or GT-R or M5 or used Ferrari and call it a day.

actually any and every car magazine has ever read has stated 'there's no replacement for displacement...'

just do a search on that quote and I guarantee you'll hit just about every major car article/newspaper/magazine making that same statement. with too much boost something is almost always bound to go wrong...you'll rarely see a V8 or 12 cylinder run with boost...

overall boost destroys internals overtime, and in my honest opinion the evo/sti's you guys see running high boost wont be cars driving our streets 10-15 years from now. but look at the old mustangs and corvettes and camaros....from the 60s and 70s....

you can make something small and push the hell out of it like the japanese do...or you can make something huge and bulky which isnt quite as nice and it
ll last you a lifetime.

i prefer japanese b/c i dont want to have a car for more than 6-7 yrs but just making a point...

^ I dunno, I think that with modern manufactoring methods/materials you can reliably run <10psi for the life of the car (200k+ miles).
