New Sedan vs Coupe (not a race thread)

I was reading up on the sedan coming out soon and so far it sounds like it will still be a 3.5 litre engine with the improved internals (80% of which are due to change) to put it over 300 hp somewhere.

Since the coupe is under wraps also at this moment, I dont know if Infiniti would do it, but im curious to see if the coupe will wear the "37" tag with the slightly larger motor and similar build to the newer VQ.

Since I am a coupe fan, of course I would love this, but its just a thought.

they registered g37 at the patent office, but i doubt it. very unlikely to use 2 displacements for the sedan and coupe.

Its without question that the new sedan is going to be faster than our coupes. They have to in order to keep up with the competition.

newsflash young Anakin, the sedan is already faster than your coupe. Even the 03-04 sedan 6mt have the same 280hp engine + it's lighter. The 05+ sedan 6mt comes with the rev-up engine which is faster. Not sure about the weight, i would think it's still lighter. I'd venture the only different that might make a different would be the suspension and/or tires. But i think the 6mt can be equip with the sport tune if not come standard. bottom line, time to go FI
