Holy Crap Im So Lucky...

Well, the good news, I got my HKS installed tonight and this thing is bad ***, the perfect sound that I was looking for. Couldn't be happier

Well the even better news, after install of the HKS, I was on my way home and I got onto 198 heading torwards burtonsville. First time I had my exhaust so I just had to throw the car WOT, I took the car all the way to 6.5k through 1st, 2nd and I was intending to do so in 3rd, (exhaust note was sick), BUT I see these driving lights on on the sholder (cop) and I slam on my breaks.. Too Late.. he flashes his sirens and I pull over..
He asks me why Im in such a hurry and blah blah blah, I tell him that I just finished my final exams and that I'm finally stress-free and I literally begged him to let me off (i'm in some deep **** with tickets right now), and the guy lets me go!!!!!!! man I am not going over speed limit in a while..

Btw, the HKS IS NICEE

Yea...I got the HKS Hi-Power too (I'm guessing thats what u have and not the sport). I have racing pipes with mine as well (Helix cat-less pipes) and its makes it sound kinda annoying at very high revs but it adds to the whole quickness and response and pick up. Incase you wandering about doing this as well, PM me and I'll tell u all I can and maybe even post up a video with sound so u can hear it. --Raj

Congrats on the HKS. Would you mind posting some sound clips? How loud is it compared to stock? Let me know please. Thanks.

man considering the jam you are in already, you sure are lucky. this on top of all that would have gotten your liscense suspended and maybe jail time. glad you squeaked your way out of it man! enjoy the HKS and drive slow for now man, at least until you settle the other stuff.

lets put it this way, i drove with Devon (HKS), Jesus (Fuji), Khoa (Nvidia G20) the HKS totally drones out the other exhausts easily, i cant even hear the other aftermarket exhaust. you can literally hear HKS from 1/2 mile to a mile away. When you are right to it its extremely loud. probably around 2x or 3x as loud as stock exhaust. but it sounds great, its not annoying like civic fart cans.

terry that could be because devon also has aftermarket cats as well. swapping the cats adds a very different tone.

Haha, I do remember Devon's being a bit louder, I am going to save up for some Cats, but thats later, right now, I gotta resist the urge to go WOT
