Gauges / Performance info display

Gauges / Performance info display
So what is out there for adding gauges or info display to our cars? I'm not interested in an OBD2 dongle that I can connect to my phone or a laptop - cant' look at those while driving.
My RX8 had a nifty add-on called the GoodBox which intercepted the data between stereo head unit and the digital info display, and also tapped OBD2 to show up to 2 parameters (I usually looked at measured AFR and engine water temp) instead of the radio station info.
I'd also be interested in gauge pods or mounting arrangements that people have used.
Being that I'm in the 99-degrees-that-feels-like-NOPE South, I'd like to look at engine H20 temp, oil temp, and oil pressure at a minimum, reserving boost, afr, and/or egt for the future.

I'm trying to avoid that. I can't see close up really well without reading glasses - with which I can't see anything well more than 3' away. So basically, if I can see the car gauges and down the road, I can't read anything on my phone, and vice versa.
I guess I could get a bigger phone eventually - Apple seems to be headed to phablet-land without any remorse.
I'd rather put something on the nav display or have a discrete gauge.

I'll be trying to run a gauge made by Aeroforce. I have it on my boosted F150. It reads from the OBD2 port. has over a 100 paramaters it can display. Just need to find a mount or make one. it's a nifty gauge. even has scrolling through each parameter that you choose to have show. I love it. Check it out.

ironically this made me buy an obd2 reader..
have it hooked up to an old android phone. and with a couple macros setup on my phone it turns on ans off with my car and goea directly into tourqe app so its a permanent thing.. kinda cool loads of info on the car.
anyone trying to do the same thing and need help with macros let me know.
