Mods: Stillen Gen3 CAI, Stillen CBE, OBX RTPs, Swift springs, Megan Racing strut bar, G37 Coupe rear sway bar, AdminTune w/ 308WHP.
Humidity was 76-78% and temps ranged from 66-68F. I cut a 1.99 60’ but couldn’t break 13.5 or 104MPH trap due to these conditions. Best trap so far is 104.48MPH. Hoping to get my 13.3 @ 105+ slip and call it a day. She’s at 186k miles now!

My 13.51 was done in 49deg weather. The closest I have came to it in the heat (69deg) has been a 13.66 @ 104.29
177k miles
I have shorter tires and drop in filters. My wheels were from a 2003 G35 that I painted black. Now I have billet rays all around and a lightweight pulley.
I have no exhaust and no tune yet. Also looking to do a 3.69 gear swap.
Here is my best run to date!! Before the pulley install

Makes me happy to see those boxes in action.
I lost one of my boxes during the accident so I went ahead and installed my 3.7 Q50 boxes that I'll try to make a good box for.

Been using FLEXSEAL to seal them up but one had developed some cracks. Going to get the strongest version of Flexseal to hopefully seal them tight them test again.
3" tubing! You can't tell they are there!! Just hope it works and betters my ET!! Then I will install the 3.69 gears
Unsure if you're planning on keeping the filters in the box or you went with dual filters or you stayed with just the outside but I suggest maybe another addition.
Many intake companies found positive results from adding intake funnels/velocity stack to their tubes behind the grill. Since you still have the OEM configurations I would ditch the filters behind the grill for 3 inch trumpets that feed forced air into the modified box.
Here's my new setup. I'll be building a box for it soon.
3.8 inch plastic tubes going to behind the grill area and I'm leaving the filters in the boxes to do the filtering.

My tubing with the filter attached is 3". I have removed the filters from the stock boxes. If I can completely seal the stock boxes if should work as if they are custom long tube intakes. With 3" from the grill to the box and then 2.5"(stock MAF) from the box to the throttle body. I am also going to try this setup with 2.7 MAF housings from a 10-14 Maxima to replace the stock boxes to see how that works. They use the same MAF sensor. Some say I need a tune for that but I will still try it. MAYBE I won't need a tune! I will find out.
