Any Tampa Bay folks - going to the track this Sat 12/14

Hey guys -

Two tampa bay guys taking a trip to Bradenton Speedway on Sunday morning. One G37s 7at (me) and one G37s 6spd.

My friend and I know each other from back in the Maxima org days and used to get a few people together to go to the track every few months.

It is a fun time and if you haven't been before, we can give you some tips. Or if you are more experienced, we don't mind learning.

It will be my first time running the G at the track - and in fact, the first time I've ever run an auto at a track (run many different manual trannys). So, that might be interesting!

Send a pm, post here, or just show up. We are planning on leaving from Pinellas around 7am, stopping for breakfast and getting to the track early. Always want to get some early runs in before it gets crowded/broken - lol.

No Infiniti necessary - bring anything you want to run.

It's a fun trip just watching some of the other cars there. Just try to get there early. They open at 9.

Pm me if you want contact info. We usually stop at cracker barrel right at the exit first.

Lol! You don't HAVE to get there that early but... good for more runs though.

You go with some lightweight rims??

na but its football sun and im not trying to be out there all day, plus like you said...the earlier the more likelyhood of more runs. Gonna talk to the wifey...I know shes been wanting to get her G out there and race it legally

as for rims, not light weight...went with stag 20" Velgen BM7's.....but I am anxious to see how the Michelin PSS would do on the track...I'll have to keep you guys posted.

Now we can finally put the auto and manual thing to test. As I've told you the loaner auto I had for a day was EXTREMELY frisky, especially out of the hole.
A 50 roll is a must ;-)

John and Terry it was a pleasure meeting you both and I had a great time talking cars and running the G's. Needless to say the guy with the supposdily "bone stock" G ran the fastest time of the day

Times below and all 3 cars were 37S sedans:

7at Stock G 13.4
6mt intake/cats/exhaust/tune 13.5
7at intake/exhaust/20" wheels 13.7

Was def a fun trip and please dont hesitate if you guys need anything car related or ever want to meet up and talk cars

It was an awesome day! Too bad we couldn't have gotten our first runs in at 9:00 when it was cooler. My car said it was 62 on the first run.

I expected John to beat my time because he's such a master with the autotragic, not to mention his awesome reaction times

Justin...your car looks killer with the wheel set up you have.
