Nice. How'd the new pads hold up?

Was this your first time? Not too shabby.

Yeah, very first track day ever! I was happy too, thanks man!

Pads survived but smeared from the heat and caused pedal pulsation that got worse through each stint as they warmed up.

I'm going to switch to c tech next season and dba rotors. Racing brake rotors don't play nice with c tech pads, i hear.

I should add that friction levels never dropped off even by the end if the stint. I did boil my fluid so did a front bleed halfway though the day (a motive power bleeder really helps when you're solo!)

In the warmer months I'm going to pull my front shields and use ti shims with the c tech xp12s.

Also discovered that our cars can suffer fuel starvation pretty easily under high-g long right handers. On mine it happened anywhere below 1/2 tank when i was really pushing it. I need to solve that too.

Looking good. Track days can get addictive. How did the PSS hold up throughout the day?

The pss tires dont even look worn! They did great and the colder temps meant a lap was needed to bring them up to full stickiness.
