Just curious was it a sportsman tree or a pro tree for the staging? If it was a sportsman tree then you red lighted every run besides the last and a pro tree then your R/T's where on point. Just curious common misconception is that a R/T of .000 is perfect and it is not on a sportsman tree .500 is perfect and on a pro .400 is perfect

Sportsman the amber lights after you have staged come down one by one until the green light, and a pro tree all the ambers come at once then the green light

drag racing is not easy and every car is different. . . yes your times should have been significantly better, but nothing to be mad over just keep going back and it will drop.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! I'll have to make it out just to try one of these days. Did you mostly read/YouTube about technique?

I went to the race track over the weekend too in Ennis here in Texas. Fastest was 14.2 =(. couldn't go faster than that =(. It was probably cause it was 92 outside still at 8 pm, and probably cause I only have intakes. =P. Wish our G's came with a small turbo cause there was a lot of mazda speed 3's running 13.3 - 13.5. =(.
