^ Is more seat time necessarily a better thing? I like to allow time for my car to cool off between each session, and there's always driver fatigue to deal with as well (possibly not that big an issue, but so-cal tracks hit ambient temps over 100 easy in the summer, for pretty much the whole day).
as long as you have adequate time between runs, i prefer more over less. so far ive averaged about 4 20 min sessions/day at my DE events here with at least 1 hr between runs. as long as i take a breather myself, it works out. but when i ride with instructors in between my runs, im definitely a lot more worn out at the end of the day.
