Great reaction time man.
I've heard that for the A/T's, that just punching the gas at the starting line gets you the best start. I come from racing my 69 Dodge Dart and a 69 Chevy Nova, and I had a 2500 Stall Convertor in each of them, but for some reason the G's have usually responded better without a brake launch. Might wanna try a run with VDC on as well and then turn it off after the start

I'm glad to see someone posting about a drag strip experience. I'm sure you know this, but reaction time has nothing to do with your ET.
Not sure where you live. That can make a difference on the outcome. Was it real hot out? Did you race into a strong headwind? Not much you can do with that car other than a brake torque launch. Try removing your spare tire and everything else in the trunk to free up some weight. It's all about lb./hp. with drag racing.

I ran a decent 14.002@100.46mph with my 6mt sedan just JWT intake on it at E-town... i was pissed i didnt break 13's that day b/c of the small breeze.
I did a 13.6@ 103mph with my 08 automatic coupe running on 20s. I got Stillen Gen3 intake and greddy tic exhaust and a exhaust depot ypipe. I used DS also. I did a 13.0@ 111mph with my IsF with a K and N intake. Both done at Atco
i would've used the manual shift mode and just shift yourself. it's not fun just driving down the track and flooring it.
in my QX56 i was able to get a 2.2 60-foot time.. the 2.3 you should be able to get it down.
