I'm guessing this is prob just a difference in driver ability.

Here's the question to answer - were your times in his S model faster than your times in your own base model?

And how big of differences are we talking about? Enough to be significant?

It's hard for me to beleive that you have raced so many different G37s AND that you also know exactly what each drivetrane was. Sorry but this thread is a bit fishy. There is not enough weight difference between the different trims to have any significant winner in a drag race with stock engines.

It's probably because of the limited slip diff which robs a small amount of power.
