New Track in Sparta, Kentucky

Is anyone on here thinking about joining the new track in Sparta, Ky.

here is a link if you want to check it out:

www.drivebluegrass.com

I'm thinking about joining and wanted to see if there were any other G37 owners that were also going to be there.

I heard about this track a few months ago. They're opening next month. I'm definitely interested.

I looked into membership and it is steep! This is truly a countryclub for motosports enthusiasts. However, the alternate is to go through a track time sponsor for single day events.

The price is a bit steep. It's cheaper than a golf membership at Four Bridges country club though. Also the membership is sellable, which means you can recover some of your cost.

The video of the track looks awesome! Really cool set up with some awesome elevation change.

I can't decide wether I want to lightly track prep my g37 or buy something and make it into a dedicated track car.

I'm glad they built another one for the Ohio valley people. The only other 2 I know of are Mid Ohio and Autobahn in Joliet, IL.

I would definitely like to make a few track sessions a year down in Sparta.

Ok Andrew... you started it, as soon as the weather warms up, we need to plan a Tri-State meet. Maybe at the Quaker Steak & Lube near in Northgate. Great meeting place for all types of motor enthusiasts.

I would love to join you guys but sadly I don't actually own a G.
I was looking at the G37S but now I am leaning towards a 370Z.
Either way, I wouldn't be in the market until this summer. We'll see how the economy is doing around then.

Get the 370Z so we can trade at the track ;-)

I'd love to meet up with some of the other G37 owners in the area. I'm actually from west chester, which is exit 19-21 on 75. Quaker Steak and Lube is a cool place, it'd be cool to get a couple of cars there.

I'd love it even more to see some of you guys at the track. I'm in the process of selling and buying a home so I don't know if I'm going to be able to actually get a membership this year. I do have a family friend though that is an investor/member whom I could probably get some tickets from.

You didn't happen to have another G37 behind you on I-75 last Wednesday morning, did you? I was behind a red G37S from West Chester to the 275 interchange when I got off on 275 and he went straight on 75-South. It's so rare that I see another G37, so I figured I'd ask!

You don't need a membership to drive the track. There are several organizations that sponsor track day events where you pay a one day fee.

That wasn't me, that's the stretch of 75 I'm usually on though. I'm seeing more and more G37's now a days. My G is Black.

I have looked at the single day track events, primarily the one the cincy chapter of the SCCA is doing. The idea isn't nearly as thrilling as being able to drive to the track on my own schedule and race as I please. I'd really like to join the track eventually. In the mean time though, I think I could swing a couple passes from the investor I know if any one is interested.
