g37s vs 335i
Guys, my Honda Del Sol with a 1.8L turbo with 215whp is faster than my G37. You guys gotta realize that Turbocharged cars run alot more efficiently, why do you think most big rigs are turbodiesel? Its not always about more Hp in a car, you gotta factor in weight, efficiency of the transmission, the gearing, also, the dude thats comparing the Pontiac Gto with the G37, Hes just plain dumb, May I ask how many Hp do they come with stock? 400+ you might as well go to the scion tc forum and brag about how fast your gto is. Again, bmw 335 is fast but its also a near $50k car, totally not in our bracket. If speed is all you guys worry about, I suggest driving that Gto, its dirt cheap and retarded fast. but thats all it is, straightaway fast car, and its a super superfast car to the gas station. Cmon guys, we all got the G37 cause its refined, looks hot as ****, and has all the nice creature comforts. Theres no 40% off msrp when they are brand new or 90% off sticker when they are 2 years old. lol All bmw owners can brag about is their blunt speed. Maybe the nice coffee they got at the dealer when its in for warranty again. otherwise, talk to me when they actually have touch screen monitors, for god sake, my cousins $21k civic has a touch screen navi. $50k car cant even have a touch screen. Our cars are in the same price category as their 328, just cause infiniti aims high and tries to compare it with the 335, it doesnt mean its a direct comparision. I betcha if you load up a 328 with the exact same option as our g37, its still probably more expensive than our car, not to mention, they dont even have an option for 19 inch wheels, unless your in the M3 category.
My friend have a 2008 335i. it only has around 3000 miles. We got into a little contest with a white G37 and it was pretty even. From around 40 to all the way to 130.
He was in front of us like 1 car length and he hits the gas first, as soon as we heard his exhaust, my friend floored, and all the time race stayed equal. No 1 gained

its a piggyback for the ecu to up the boost, its undetectable by the dealer cause technically the ecu is untampered. there are 3 stages of juicebox, first level adds 35hp, second level adds 60hp, and third level adds 80hp.
Reason why I compare them to us is, they actually are a luxury sports coupe as well (for those who didnt know, Holden built them, not Pontiac).
Ah, gotcha. That's what I was thinking about...definitely a good bang for buck deal.
thats what I used to have, and the gf has an older (04, with the 5.7L, we're about an even match now), but the 6.0s bring on the pain for the G37 and 335i.

luxury coupes?
I guess my impression of them was to be a GT coupe that's more...muscle car, I guess. Obviously if you aren't in the market for one there's no appeal in it, but besides that, it does achieve its purpose quite well. What other car can you get for that price that has "creature comforts", great modability, and a very torquey stock engine?
