And if you talk about new cars here and take price in consideration, then G37s wins.....thats the reason why it won in some mags. But i bought certified 335i with 30k miles for $27k.

So, if you own the 335, why are you here? Go to the Bimmer forums. You already know which side of the fence we lie on.

You know what they say about BMW owners and porcupines?

Believe me, i would rather buy G37 for LSD, probably better reliability, and maybe a better price (talking about used cars here).......but I went with 335I

You see, quite a few Infinity people go BMW route, and yet not many BM people choose Infinity......I based this from reading G35/37 forums....
Have you/her seen the 3 series cup holders?

haha I don't understand what you said Mike...I can't stand BMW's, and I think the Infiniti leather is fine (were you saying you like the BMW leather or Infiniti leather better?)

I guess it's a matter of preference really, you're on a G37 forum so you know which one everyone prefers

I rest my case. That BMW interior/console is boring and ugly IMO. The G's console is WAY better

every video i've seen sees the 335i always 'crawling' away from a roll.

i can't link to street racing but i can link to a youtube search. if you go down the list i can't find any where the G comes out from a roll.

YouTube - 335 vs g37

also MotorTrend (the guys who announced that the G37 the 'the king') even found that from a roll the 335 still has an edge.

2008 Infiniti G37 vs 2007 BMW 335 - Specs - Head to Head - Motor Trend

...again, i really do hope that the G37 can win everytime from a roll against a 335 stock for stock. i've just never witnesed it...or even read about till' now.

BMW's leather quality is better than Infinitis, if you opt to get it. However, their interior is still totally boring, and really dated.

Ever felt Lexus leather? Now that is nice stuff. That alone covers a lot of the price gap between a G and a IS350.

Back in the 5AT days, yes (partially due to gearing, partially because the BMW 6AT locked up far more agressively than the Infiniti 5AT, resulting in less drivetrain loss). 6MT vs 6AT was always a slight edge to the G. 6MT vs 6MT, the BMW has an edge, if the driver is willing to flat-foot shift, which is unlikely. Otherwise, the Infiniti has the edge. 7AT vs 6AT or 6MT, Infiniti has the edge.

Again, this is from a highway speed roll. From a dig, the 335 wins every time with equal drivers.

i don't think so. there was a press junkette where they supplied their own 335i for auto journalists to compare to at their own circuit.... but the Motor Trend comparo was MT's 335i at willow springs.

335i are cheap used but that's probably because of the fuel pump issue that bmw can't seem to fix. have you run into that problem yet?

Ah ok. That was just what I heard.

Also, I have yet to line up with a stock 335i that I haven't passed yet.
