Diamond, thank you for spotting that. Also the first vid is a coupe and the second is a sedan....This could explain the better jump for the lighter coupe. This thread was beginning to get repetitive.

Perhaps the sound is him giving a tad of throttle right after the shift when car is in N between shifts...With an intake that tiny bit of throttle in those gaps can sound like "breaths of air" which I suppose could be mistaken for a BOV.

It sounds like a NOS kit to me. My friend's Roush Mustang gives off that same sound and he has a Nitrous kit in it. Nitrous usually kicks in at the top range of the RPM which it sounds like it is doing to me. My money is on it being a Nitrous kit in the car plus the I know this is a little bit of a stereotype but the kid looks very young in the car (16-19) and that age group usually puts those systems on cars due to it being cheap and powerful. My friends and I were that age when we looked into NOS.

Theres really not 400 lbs weight difference in the alty... He had an extra person filming so that negatest the 400 lbs arguement! So maybe around 200 lbs difference in that particular video...

What with 3psi boost? The only thing that's certain (100%) is that it's an Altima.

But it is 100% an Altima!!

I don't see anything productive coming from this so due to popular demand, this is did. However if someone can think of a good reason, please don't start a new thread!
