What kit should I choose?

or
G37 Packages | Jotech Motorsports

Z1 is claiming 400 horsepower which would equal around the same amount as the Jotech package. Why is the Jotech package so much more expenisve? (besides labor) If it is because of the extra parts, then why wouldn't Jotech provide more hp? Having a hard time choosing between the two.

There package is more because you are getting more parts with it. The Z1 package only gives you their branded headers and test pipes.....plus a modified upper manifold. Their "400 hp" package assumes you have intake, exhaust, and a tune already. That's why its cheaper. If you have those other parts already then go with them. If not then go with Jotech or hit up one of the sponsors and see what kind of package price they can work for you on the parts that you want.

Read 4DRZs review of the Z1 "400" HP package, it took him nearly a year to get his Z1 e-tune worked out.

If you want a full bolt on, tuned car, I'd get the parts you want and find someone to do a proper dyno tune

Is $14K really that outrageous for a supercharger (including all the supporting parts and labor)??

truth be told I didn't look down at the other packages before I commented lol Going back and reading what comes with it, All in all its not that bad of a deal for what you get on that package. They should really throw an upgraded clutch in there too though, that's gonna be the next thing needed and depending on mileage the stock one might not hold depending on how hard they drive it.

Yeah, but like 95% of these cars are autos, so whatever transmission probably needs a separate upgrade.
