K&N 69 Series Typhoon Air Intakes - Issues
***UPDATE*** - It has been several months now since I switched back to stock, I still continue to have the noise in colder weather. It seems to not exist when the weather is warmer (some interior plastic expanding and preventing the noise???).
I did take it to the dealer, they did various tests and hooked up some weird vibration detector to various parts of the engine. It was determined to not be engine knock. It is just a little annoying cabin noise when I accelerate beyond 4k rpm in weather under 70 degrees or so....2k rpm in temperature under 20.
it is honestly is enough of a pain to make me want to return the lease....

i'll give it a try....it sounds like it is coming from inside the cabin but i have not done anything with the interior minus some paddle shifters that are on there tight as ****!!!!
I have k&n intakes and no issues here.
It may be your cowl rattling against the windshield. Mine does that when the temps are cold out. There is a thread on here that shows how to fix that. Some j channel strip or something like that which can be found on eBay.
Good luck man!
