Looking at the G37 y-pipe they have, I'm again assuming it'd actually be a downgrade as the IPL is a true dual so it'd be a step backwards?

The Y for the 37 is a down grade from ipl as its true dual H pipe not Y.
This is why ive been gloating over the aam true H but not excited about chopping itto add length
The single best power mod that felt gains on my Z was the true dual exhaust hands down which is why my new exhaust must maintain the true not to mention the IPL is tuned for a true dual setup
Did the next best thing to crawling under the car...took a look in the for sale section and found some used IPL exhaust for sale threads with pics!

The Midpipe looks ok but the the "H" pipe looks downright funky (and it looks more like a Y but I digress...). Maybe it's just the heat shielding but the pipe diameter looks like it's all over the map. I would actually consider having any aftermarket replacement ceramic coated. Must be a reason the OEM uses all that shielding.
