Simple explanations...?

Perhaps this should be in the issues and suggestions, but considering it is a general request specific to modding, I think I'll try my chances in here unless the powers that be believe it should be elsewhere (which would be fine also).

Being unfamiliar with modding, would anyone be willing to create or point me to a resource that has the name of available modifications and a simple, short explanation of its function/purpose? Something like:

Intakes - More air flow, power and throttle response improved
Sway Bars - Tighten suspension
Stickers/Vinyl Decals - MOAR HP!!!
etc...

(please note, I just got those descriptions off of a couple things I read while thinking this thread may be useful to people like myself and are only as accurate as my reading comprehension skills... ).

Something like this might be useful in order to address concerns that the less mechanically inclined among us (i.e. me) know they want to fix/modify but don't know where to go to fix it. For instance, The suspension on this car is looser than the 335 I had and feels a bit sloppier, but until I accidentally stumbled across some link for sway bars, I had no idea what they were...

Thanks!

Simple is a tall order, my man. Your best bet would be to go into the D.I.Y. threads and just pick out topics that sound interesting to you. Read up and learn what the mods do. Most DIY threads give a pretty defined before and after description. After you troll around this forum for a while you'll pick up on the lingo and the technical terms. These cars aren't very difficult to mod but the mods are a bit costly to get into.
