Dealer Mod installs?

Ok so enough of the bla, bla bla on how much a dealer is going to rip people off doing installs.

But would one not have piece of mind known that they would stand behind their work and be able to fix what ever might go wrong during the install?

If you can't do it for yourself, how can you consider them charging for their skills a ripoff? DIY for free if you have skills. They charge whatever their hourly labor rate is. Typically $110-130/hour at lost Infiniti dealerships I've dealt with.

Many wont touch it, some will. Yes, if they agree to take on the work they'll be responsible for the work. They won't necessarily warranty it if they do it because they are aftermarket parts.

For example I got a dealership to install my HFC initially because they are a PITA. They charged $250 because they thought it should take 2 hours. Turns out they stripped an O2 sensor removing it and broke a couple of bolts. It took them about 6 hours. So in that instance it paid off for me to let them take risks.

you'll be getting more piece of mind than people backing their work. Since it's not an oem part, from my experience dealers typically blame the aftermarket part as defective and will double charge for labor

Depends on the dealer
