2012 G37xs Coupe Graphite Shadow Tints?

Picking up my new G next week. 2012 Graphite Shadow XS Coupe. Never got tints before so kinda a newb on this. What percentage what be best? Thinking 50% just to avoid cops and the hassle. Any pics of tints on a graphite shadow? Any brands anyone recommends?

I found a good reviewed place in nj that uses Johnson Window Films, but dont know how they are or what to look for.

call eye doctors around the area and see if they are willing to examine you for photophobia. It's basically being overly sensitive to sunlight. and if you "are" overly sensitive, they will write you a prescription for tints.
that's what i did, and I have 18% tints, and i've been pulled over once for tints, and cops couldn't really do much since i had precsription for tints.

Also, don't bother with 50% tints.
Atleast get 30 - 35% range. (percentage varies by tint shops)

Do they straight up write you a prescription for tints? or you got to ask them? think I will give them a call today. You recommend and brand for tints?

35% is usually the legal limit. It definitely makes for a nice look without compromising night visibility. I did limo on this car all the way around and I do have to be careful at night, it's pretty dark, but it's awesome during the day. I've never been pulled over for tint, but we are in arizona, and most cops leave you alone for tint out here.

Send some pics if you get a chance, that would definitely help. I don't want to go to dark, so guessing 30-35% would be my option. I am in NJ though, can have nothing legally on the side windows.

Look I got pulled over by my house just now lol, I have 5% all around except the windshield is 20%... Yup. So, they let me go due to the fact because my cousin is a DT in NYPD. I get stopped so many times I lost count! Like I said next year when I will get my new G37 I will get 50% Windshield and the rest 40%. I had enough... Evrytime I hear "when are you taking off that windshiled?" or "Who are you hiding from". Some highway patrol cops even take my PBA cards I know that's f'd up but hey no ticket's, The badge also helps ;-)

Oh yeah get the best quality tint's too for a better sharper look!

I also have my windshield tinted. No script for light sensitivity though. I did my back window and 2 small ones 5%, driver and passenger 50%, and windshield 50%. I really think its a great combination. I live in ohio and they are pretty strict on tint laws (50% is legal).
Windshield is illegal but usually not suspected. And they typically dont have the meter required to tell if your windshield is tinted. Certain angles it looks like my car is pitch black but others it looks legal.
