The install wasn't all that hard, you just have to take the entire center console completely out which is a little time consuming the first time you do it. I had trouble getting the dust boot reinstalled on the underside of the shifter, but that is only becasue my car is low and I was in a very tough position to work in. The install really isn't bad IMO. I just don't feel any performance increase because mine shifts clunkier and requires more effort than the OEM one and the throws are not shortened enough to even notice for me. I think my rattling issue with the **** might be as much the **** itself as it is the shifter but the noise is really annoying. Enough so that I'll probably go back to stock and sell mine. Some probably think these are the greatest thing since sliced bread. For me, not so much.

 

I bought the shifter n heavy type.r ****. Easy install, shorter noticeable shifting, less vibration throughout the rpm. Great sportier feel. Def.recommend to others.

Oh I love it bro! I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten the Big Type R or the A6 Leopard **** instead of the Piston. Other than than, it's great!
