Hold on!!

Ok,

So look this is IMAO of course but I am in a similar spot. I love the peroformance ot the M3 but the styling of my G37 inside. The GTR is just to flashy for me and I like to be in a sleeper. If I were you I would keep your G37 and talk to Sam at GTM. Look on their website GTM Motorsports POWER PACKAGES GTM VQ37VHR 800HP TWIN TURBO PACKAGE-M/T-GTR KILLER

this is a package they call GTR killer and you'll see why. Anyone with the $$$ can go buy a fancy car, but putting in the time and effort to your own project will be more than worth it! When your brother pulls up in his M3 or some ***** in a Ferrari thinking he is gonna spank your pretty little G37 like a red headed step child and you leave him crying like a little girl......

@ the OP: What is your goal with the car? What would you like for the car to do?

As a rule of thumb, if you want to go faster, buy a faster car. There are reasons "slightly faster" cars cost so much more. This car can't even run WOT for a decent amount of time stock before it overheats. Let all the turbo fanboys let it out; they just want you to TT because they can't/won't do it themselves.

Determine what you want out of the car, let us know, and perhaps we can guide you in the right direction.

Anyone can go fast in a straight line. All you do is step on the gas.

The M3 is not a car to mod, if you wanted something to mod should've bought a GTR

Invest more on your driving skills, less on your car then

Track cars?

Are you ready to gut the car and reduce everything unnecessary? Gutting is free and will do more for the car than any modification will.

Gut the car, and remove everything unnecessary. That will lighten the car about 1000 lbs. Now add a massive oil cooler, seal the engine bay, get some 3 way dampers and springs, a front splitter, rear wing, exhaust, test pipe, tune, vented hood, cage, LSD, and some brake pads.

Change fluids to appropriate high end stuff.

That should cost you about 20k.

I'm assuming you know how to drive the car.

Sounds like you need seat time. Forget the mods and learn to drive.

You don't know how to drive. You just think you know how to drive.

Street racing requires no more than a douche behind the steering wheel, costs $0
