To HFC or not
To HFC or not
SO, I have the Stillen Gen 3 intake and the Cat Back exhaust. I am planning on getting my car tuned with UpRev, but before I do I am debating adding the HFC's on the car first. I am not concerned with the extra volume. I know the tune alone will give me the best gains, but also not sure if I will the HFC will be worth it.
For those who have done this...would do you feel a tune with the Intake and cat back exhaust will be that much difference than adding the HFC and then retuning?

Personally I love the HFC's. I have the Gen3, Berk HFC, and ARK CBE. It sounds great and has great potential in the right tuners hands. I don't know what the difference is as I didn't do a tune before all that. But short answer I think it's totally worth it
With all the bolt-on mods you have already, you will get about 5ish more HP from HFCs... They will also change the tone of your exhaust as well... for the better IMO.
I have ERZ HFCs (NissanGeneration on the370z.com) and am very happy with them (they were raspy before I put on the Fast Intentions CBE). They are the most affordable HFCs available for us that I am aware of.

HFCs are great IMO... I've got Berks. Does make the exhaust slightly louder, especially in the high end.
They don't cause smell of gas cause they are still cats, just higher flowing cats with less cell count and lighter than stock cats.
