I'm 99.995716590% sure there would be no difference in power.
Sound can be different because both have different design and resonator.
Lou said MXP TPs give more aggressive sound.

I think the MXP is double resonated vs. GTMs single resonated (although they do have a DR option)

Do test pipes set off check engine lights? Do you just drive around with them on?

The lights you should really be concerned about, is those blinking red lights from a cop behind you who heard your loud exhaust coming from a mod that is illegal in all fifty states.

Test pipes are no louder than any other V-8 mustang, Camaro, Vette, or full size truck, with a exhaust set up.

Well, besides the fact that we’re taking about Infinitis here, loudness is not really the issue, except for the fact they can often be discovered by law enforcement without looking under the car. Test pipes are illegal for street use in all fifty states because of the harmful contribution they make to our fragile environment. As in past threads on this subject, this issue seems to get ignored.
