get rid of spare tire, back seats, all the insulation and padding and you dont really need the mods.

Lol, tell me about it. Our cars are heavy as ****t. I weighed mine at the track with me in it, and a 3/4 tank of gas and it came in at 3,945 lbs. I weigh about 220 lbs, so the car weighs about 3725 lbs with gas
