I still miss the sound of the Greddy, but I was never able to get over the it looked. Every time I walked to my car, I always just looked at the way the Greddy didn't flow with the car. Plus, the same week I was switching to the HKS, I went into Superautobacs and walked through their exhaust section and saw the Greddy exhaust right and saw that it was the one for the Scion TC, and I just shook my head.

 

If looking for bang for the buck you should look into Magnaflow cat back.I purchased and installed myself for less than half price of most other catbacks (around 500).So far (six months)the system sounds and looks awesome.Just a thought.

 

Why becareful with hfc??

Borla had a tad less drone but a lot of rasp... FI as a little drone down low but has zero rasp.

 

Only thing I can think of is the CEL issues some people are having. I had berks and had a CEL lght but no CEL with my FI hfc's but it is hit and miss for both of these HFC's

aayyy wud a Y pipe on a stock exhaust make difference in sound and how raspy wud it get wit no mufflers!!!

 

im looking to keep the stock exhaust but just switch to berk hfc. love the stock sound but i just want it a little louder. the extra few hp are a bonus too.
