So if I get this installed, what's the best brand to get? And it should last through car washes, etc, right?
I would recommend geting a clear bra. VentureShield or ClearMask AR are the two best products out there. Both of them will have a nice glossy finish that will shine up very nicely if you put a good wax on it. It will looks a lot better than having it all chipped up on the front. Roads in colder climates tend to break down faster (i.e. pot holes, cracks, etc.) which means there will be a lot of loose gravel on the road. So get that done first... once the chips are there... they are there.

I'll throw out another unmentioned mod... If you have the navigation package, look into the KP Tech nav bypass. It automatically presses the annoying "OK" button when you start the car, and allows access to all the grayed out options while you're driving.

Will it make your car faster? No. Look cool? No. Better performance? No. But you might actually use it daily and make your navigation package 10x more useful!
