Painting the Front Grill

I would like to paint my front grill black, not a big fan of the chrome. Has anyone painted the grill, and does it come out ok? I'm sure any good body shop could do it for me. Any comments/ pictures would be appreciated!

this is to anyone who did not DIY...if you got it painted professionally...how much they charge you? I would either do matte black or color-matched black.

Professionally varies on which body shop, the shops I know in So.Cal usually charge 100-120 dollars.

Yeah I've been thinking of painting mine black too, but not sure how it's gonna look. I'll have to look around to see a side by side comparison of stock vs. black painted grills to see which one looks more sick

For sure...if I were to do it, glossy would be the way to go...nothin like having shiny teeth!

Gamedog...you know what...it actually looks pretty bad ***. You wouldn't happen to have a front facing angle shot, would you? If not, no worries. I just might have to add this to my list of mod's to get done. So far, I wanna get:

1) Black Betty's Grounding Kit
2) Interior Led Lights
3) Red Calipers
4) New Vossen Rims

I just gotta sell my stock 18" rims, but not sure how much to charge. If I paint that front grill, I'm gonna have to get a shop with a good reputation around Toronto so they don't end up doing a crappy job.

Not a big fan of red calipers, everything else is a must! Those Vossen rims are sweet
