No to 18" Vossens biggest mistake!

18 FTL!!!! No No No!!!

Get either 19 or 20s... depends on what your drop is going to be... I personally love 20's. flows well with the car.

And yes tires and rims for 800 for the 18s, people are selling their 19s for like 1200-1300

haha...dude, here's a pure newb question for ya, but what does FTL stand for? To keep the price reasonable, I'll probably go for 19" Vossens...I won't drop the car to play it safe given my driving style and potential risk for bottoming out...

btw...thanks for the great advice...really appreciate it!

I personally think 20s are sweet on the G and FTL = For the Lose.

I dont think Vossen makes an 18" wheel, but I could be wrong. I believe most of their wheels start at 20". The Vossen is a nice wheel and very good looking for a cast wheel, but they are really pricey for a 1 piece cast wheel. I considered them, but the factory wheels are forged so I'm more than likely sticking with forged wheels too. Yeah you pay out the @ss for forged, but Im a firm believer in "you get what you pay for."

For everyone that has painted there grille, have you had any problems with rock chips, peeling, ect.. I've taken my car to a few body shops including the dealership and they have all told me that they cannot guarantee their work because the grille is made out of plastic and it will sustain critical rock and road debris damage which will cause the paint to start peeling. Is there a certain kind of paint and clear coat that you guys recommend or prefer that will help prevent rock chips ect.. Thanks for all your feedback It's much appreciated
