Ive been seeing some performance chips for the G online. Has anyone purchased any of these performance chips? If so, what do you think. Are they reliable?

Im 99% sure that by online you mean ebay and those DONT WORK! They trick the computer and harm the car dont get them

 

^Yup. Our ECU's will just toast that thing.

No rebutable company has made a performnce chip for the ECU's that nissan uses for the 350Z/G35/G37. So if you see any, they're no good. The only ways to go with our ECU's are a reflash or a piggy-back ECU.

Yea, don't buy any of those ebay "performance chips", they are all garbage and will probably damage your car.

I belive IMPUL makes a "chip" for the G37, but I have not read any reviews on that.

Your best bet would be to send your ECU out to a company that does performance re-flashes. But its not cheap so you should have other N/A mods done before doing that (intake, hfc's, exhaust, headers, ect.)

 

hey guys i know AAM got the reflash program in from japan last week... only shop on the east coast with the capabilities

 

The IMPUL chip is suppose to be setup for their exhaust system so if you have their exhaust setup then the chip is a good thing to get from what I hear.

 

Yeah, we recently got the flash in for the G37. I will post some info up on it a little later. We will start flashing very soon!
