I just wanted to see who was all interested and figured we could plan around everyone's schedule next summer. I had in mind taking a week off work - leaving on an early saturday morning, could even go through the badlands in SD on the way out if that interests anyone and get into Denver sometime sunday. Otherwise its less than 14 hours straight through to Denver. Figured we could stay in Denver for a few nights and somewhere else in the mountains. Then just cruising and sight seeing out there - alot of good roads in the mountains to cruise on.

And now that I am platinum/diamond for Hilton and Marriot I figure I can get us some pretty good deals for rooms out there as well since we don't have Diego hooking us up this time haha. Just thought I would throw the idea out there - I am up for suggestions since I haven't been out to CO in the summer months (only in the winter skiing). I know matt went out there to visit his ex in college so he would have some good suggestions.

Hey that works! More money, and you can go wherever on the weekend. Good deal in my book.

As for the Colorado question_ What would we be going there for? I may be interested depending in going depending on how much my remodeling ends up costing me.
Whatchu remodeling? Kitchen?

I say we get some tentative plans going. I think that would be a nice little week vacation, and there are some cool sights out there for sure.

I hear ya man...spent almost 2 hours raking this afternoon inbetween editing Dan's video from the fall cruise.

After watching the entire thing like 3 times, I just realized we didn't even get to the best part of the twisties before Bruce broke down

I've already got a plan for a Colorado trip mapped out... Colorado springs and pikes peak, checking out My Elbert, taking the highest road through international pass or whatever its called, checking out the canyons, and strawberry hot springs...

So I was looking up some cabin/condo's for rent in like Vail, CO and they have cabins that sleep 6 that range in price from $95 to $250 per night depending on the season. Summer being relatively low compared to winter/spring. So if we wanted to stay out in the mountains for week and then in denver for 2 nights either when we arrive or before we leave I would be up for that.

I just wanted to see who all would be interested so we could get an idea of what options we have. I was thinking sometime in June

Not this time. Going to focus on doing up the basement a bit and getting fresh new paint throughout the house. Might do a couple more things but that is going to be the priority.

Yeah man, was out there for over 2 hours. Was great family time though so I can't complain too much

It's not a bad idea but I'd honestly be more inclined to cruise to an actual event such as Zdayz, WekFest, First Class fitment or Z Nationals. We have plenty of time to figured it out though.

Ya event or Colorado if I can get the work off at my new job. Driven to Colorado several times, amazing mountain driving and super fun. But I would refuse for any of us to take anything but city roads at night. In one night alone I almost hit 2 foxes, 3 elk, 2 deer...one of the being no joke a 10 pt buck he was standing on the white line whe I came over a hill. At night you can't see a thing and when you're flying they come out of nowhere.

+1 to this! When I drove out to see the Crazy Canadians I left at 3 am and drove the 16 hours straight to get to Toronto So Denver would be doable if we left early in the AM.

Mayhaps if I have a house down here by then I can host you crazy guys and we could leave early and be on I-90 and save some traffic on 94. Just a thought

Where is WekFest next year - I know they have one in Texas but that is a he// of a drive down there, especially if its in Houston. And First Class is that on the West Coast? Z Nats is in ATL... Just too far for me to cruise to. I want somewhere you can get to in an easy days drive... Just sucks not having more of these events closer to us in the Midwest

I would hope not....I actually drove a straight shot to Vegas...Denver is nothin'. Plus there's zerrrro traffic areas to worry about on the way there.

Dan_ The major drawback on most of those big events for us is that they are usually held on either the east or west coast. Which I agree is a ways... But then again we drove to Florida. New Jersey is closer so I'm just throwing it out there

eh NJ is still a loooong ways away. If you plug it in google maps its still 21 hours worth of driving and the roads out here blowwwwwwwww. I would not take my G out here man - freeways to side roads is just terrible across PA and you have to go across the entire state
