Got a water softener installed last night - kept the outside spigot softened, and just installed a bypass if I need to water my lawn. Car washes will be great next year!

Oh... and holy crap. I started my shopping by looking at the ads at the local big box stores, so I was thinking 400-600 for a softener. I wish.

Yeah, my front spicot to the house has softened water for washing cars, and the rear spicot has hard water for watering the lawn and water for the pool. Works out perrrrfectly!

Yeah, I've just kind of lived in my house for 10 years, just doing random things here and there - but more or less just living and keeping up. This past year I decided that I'm gonna actually start doing something with this place. $hit adds up quick. At least its football season, so no more projects for me.

Hey - on another note.... anyone here into bikes at all? I'm working security for the SCVR (St Croix Valley Riders) chili feed in Ellsworth, WI on Sept. 8th. Anyone interested in working it with me? Pays $120 cash, 5pm to 3am. It's basically a biker ralley that has free beer and chili for the price of admission. They just need us to keep the peace, watch the concerts and keep people away from the mechanical bull (i.e. topless mechanical bull). They are still looking for 6-8 people last I heard.

It better be at $9/gallon Sounds like someone is addicted to high octane fuel now. Might be worth getting a tune with a map specifically for when you are on race fuel. Especially if you plan to make a habit out of this.

Nah it's definitely not a must. Was just thinking since you have intake/exhaust and sounds like you're getting addicted to the high octane, you might as well take advantage of the shops down there and get it done.
