Thanks for the info! I know Alpine (who Acura uses) actually had a site you could goto that would say what updates were in the latest additions, so you could kind of check to be sure the areas you wanted were updated. It's not often (ok.. maybe once every couple of weeks) that I can't find an address - or know that I'm getting screwed in mileage. It's enough to make me wonder what else I'm missing. Especially since I'm usually going from one obscure place to another, so there are lots of backroads that I take (and in some of the outskirt areas like MG, Elk River, Andover etc - they keep building out every couple of years)
Yea Tevi said it made a big difference for him in finding the quickest route, knowing new roads, etc.

Thanks for the responses! If you guys dont mind me asking how much were your renewal tab fees recently?

1) Can anyone confirm if this info has been updated recently (Like the 94 exit where Granite City is - is missing on my map, so GPS always has me take some god awful backroad to get me there - I think it makes me backtrack to 169/81)

2) Does anyone have any idea what the dealerships are charging for the code install?

Tevi did it. He said it made a pretty big difference and his car is an 08 which has one year on yours.

If you use it a lot, i'd definitely do it. It will be worth it especially if your running into that problem of it not knowing roads.

Someone posted this over at g35driver.com. I dont think you need a letter or email because it looks like you can order it directly from Navteq for the Infiniti Navigation System 11-12 for HDD System product key. This $99 promotion runs until June 20, 2012.

G Sedan - 2007 - Infiniti Navigation System 11-12 for HDD System -

If someone can actually call Luther and Jim Lupient Infiniti and post the quoted dealer installation fee that would be awesome! Maybe if we get enough people we can get a special group rate?

all i did with the code was write it in the comment box when i made the appt online. from there they simply installed it for me at the dealership.

my sedan was around $280 for tabs, and my coupe last year was around $185

The dealership didnt charge you a fee to upgrade the mapping software?

Thats not bad at all, but for some reason my brother was swearing up and down about how expensive his tabs were for his G35 coupe when he had it.

Yeah, the maps I've got are stock from '07 - I would never get the updates every year.

As for tabs - I've got my renewal waiting for my check, '07 sedan is $201.75

Someone else mentioned this as well, but you don't need the e-mail/postcard for the deal. It's just at Navteq's website for $99. Sounds like it's pretty much on sale all the time (except right when they come out with the new year)

Luther wants $121
Lupient wants $133
And Coon Rapids Nissan (or any Nissan dealer) can't do it. Booo.

Ah. That makes sense, just like the cross cross when bolting a wheel on. Again though with tourque specs, I think that whatever the specific tourque spec is you can reach it with hand tools.

Haha!! Funny shiz
There's so many Mike Smith. There was one on the 14th floor of this random hotel D Wan and I walked into last week. Should've knocked on his door to see if you looked alike

If you purchase the Nav update before June 1st (I think) it's $99 and then the dealer will charge you another $124ish to put it in. Definitely worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.

Back @ work today...and honestly...it feels dang good to be back at the office!

ONE THING I wanted to get out there for all of you that are THINKING about purchasing Fast Intentions Resonated HFCs, now is the time to do it. I'm putting together a group buy >>LINK HERE(clicky). This means I'm able to offer even lower pricing(will give special pricing to my crew), and also the wait time will be VERY limited. I spoke to Tony yesterday morning, and if I get 10 sets, they are setting a day aside next week to make them all and ship out the next day!

LMK!!! PM or text me if interested, I'll let you know how much~
